Property Acquisition Manager - Retail Stores

Location: Nationwide

Salary: Negotiable

This leading British brand on the High Street are looking to appoint a Property Acquisition Manager to support in the roll-out of a high volume of new retail stores, either as stand-alone stores or as a 'store within a store' format. This is a newly created position, as the business looks to significantly increase its footprint on the British High Street. The role reports into the Head of Property and has no direct reports.

The Role:

  • Lead the end-to-end process of property acquisition, from identifying potential sites to negotiating lease agreements and finalising contracts.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and growth in key markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with property owners, landlords, investors and agents to source new properties and negotiate favourable terms.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience in property acquisition gained in the retail real estate sector;
  • Bachelor's degree in Property or property-related field and membership of recognised professional body (RICS) preferred;
  • Strong understanding of property law, regulations, and leasing practices in the United Kingdom.
