Venn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position available
Position: Property Acquisition Manager
Location: Hybrid with weekly travel to properties (2 hour radius)
Rate: £26.60 per hour (Umbrella rate)
Length: 4 week rolling
Hours: 35 hours p/week
The role will predominantly involve:
- Being responsible for acquiring properties across the North for a charity seeking property for people on bail or released from prison under licence conditions for the next five years
- Viewing properties within a quick turn around and as soon as they go out to market
- Liaising with landlords and relationship building
- Time bound sensitive, being reactive to secure properties
- Liaising with landlords and bringing properties up to specification in line with organisations criteria
- Negotiating with landlords on bringing the properties up to adequate specification
- Responsible for finalising the leases with the landlord
To be considered for this role you will need to be able to hit the ground running and have experience in/ or/ and Land/ Property Acquisition, Property Development, Negotiation, Residential Property Purchasing/ Sales, Planning or Building Regulations, Planning, Design and/ or Project Management skills/ Good Problem Solving and Communication skills
You will also need to be able to drive for the position and be happy for us to apply for a Basic DBS for you
