Property Acquisitions Manager
MCR Property Group is an investment and development company, which works across a wide variety of sectors, including; residential, student accommodation, offices, retail and industrial.
The portfolio includes a residential development pipeline in the order of 9,000 residential units being constructed/redeveloped over the next 3 years and in excess of £1bn of assets within its commercial portfolio. MCR is looking to expand both the residential and commercial sides of the business.
MCR is looking for an experienced Acquisitions Manager to assist in its overall growth. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to acquire assets in all asset classes and all locations throughout the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing multi-sector opportunities both on and off market
- Undertaking development appraisals and residual valuations including cash flow analysis of potential development sites of varying scale
- Coordinating professional consultant input
- Negotiating with owners and their agents on commercial terms
- Understanding and dealing with legal agreements
Candidates Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Must have commercial awareness of the residential and commercial market and be able to research and assess development potential
- The ability to identify opportunities and assess / mitigate risks
- Communicating and negotiating effectively with colleagues, clients and financial stakeholders
- Ability to work in a high workload environment
- Strong existing network in the Real Estate industry
- Willingness to travel and work remotely
