Annual Salary: £25k - £30k
Location: Office Based (Colchester)
Job Type: Full Time (09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday with 1 hour paid lunch)
Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking a dedicated Property Administrator to join their team. The role involves managing administrative tasks for both residential and retail properties. The ideal candidate will be well-organised, have experience in property administration.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Scanning and organising post efficiently
- Filing documents on One Drive, ensuring all records are kept up-to-date and are easily accessible
- Handling rent renewals, including drafting initial agreements and negotiating price increases
- Managing administrative tasks for renters, such as liaising with utility providers
- Conducting credit control activities, including managing residential tenancy rent arrears
- Utilising property management software such as Alto/CFP to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property administration.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with property management software, specifically Alto/CFP, is highly beneficial.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
