As a Property Claims Handler, you will deal with a manageable caseload of Landlord and Property Owners losses, from cradle to grave, with a delegated authority limit of £50K.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Serving as the first point of contact for policyholders, providing advice and guidance throughout the claim lifecycle.
  • Accurately recording and analysing all claim-related information upon notification, including obtaining and evaluating supporting documentation to validate and process the claim.
  • Monitoring claim progress and keeping customers and relevant internal and external parties informed of any developments and issues.
  • Negotiating, settling, and/or repudiating claims within delegated authority limits, and referring claims that exceed this limit.
  • Acting in accordance with procedures and protocols under Delegated Authority Schemes.
  • Servicing calls to maintain professional relationships with Loss Adjusters, insurers, and other legal and claims professionals.

To be considered, you will have experience of dealing with residential or commercial property claims, with knowledge of the entire claims process from first notification to settlement.  You will work effectively and efficiently to bring losses to a conclusion, whilst maintaining professional relationships with policy holders and associated third parties.

You will receive a basic salary to £30,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package.  This is a hybrid role, where you will be expected to be in the office 2 days per week and the remaining days working from home.  Although, you may want to spend more time in the office to utilise the onsite gym, café and games rooms!  The culture is second to none, with a packed out social event calendar.
