Property Claims Handler - Leeds

A global loss adjusters are now seeking to strengthen its Property Claims Divisions where you will play an integral part of the business.

  • As a Property Claims handler, you will enjoy a mix of working from the busy West Yorkshire office and from home, offering flexibility, you will be working closely with your designated Field Adjuster renowned for their expertise on domestic property claims up to £100k which also includes complex cases providing assistance on site occasionally, including note taking, preparation of action plans, taking statements/photographs etc. as directed, accurately record daily time demonstrating technical competence.
  • The role will involve the prompt settling of claims providing an exceptional customer service by maintaining a positive relationship, leaving highly satisfied customers delivering technical claims handling at the highest level.

About You:

  • Be confident with the ability to deliver a 1st class customer service throughout the lifecycle of the claim
  • The ability to identify customer vulnerability and be able to handle different and sometimes difficult situations effectively
  • Home Insurance Claims knowledge and experience
  • Excellent IT skills, with the capability to maintain electronic files to a high auditable standard, including the preparation of claims documentation as required.
  • Cert CILA/Cert CII or the desire to study towards and attain within the first year
