An experienced Domestic Property Adjuster is required to join a reputable and long-established Insurance Provider who are market-leading, fast-paced, and innovative with a real passion about Customer Care.

  • You will join their specialist Property Adjusting team who offer a dedicated service to help customers throughout the lifecycle of their claim.
  • You will carry out site visits throughout the North East region assessing Property Damage claims up to £100,000, covering all peril related losses.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out site visits to policyholders properties to assess damage and produce schedule of work utilising Symbility to settle claims
  • Manage domestic property claims up to £100,000
  • Proactively manage your own caseload of claims from start to finish
  • Build relationships with Surveyors/internal stakeholders
  • Identify potential recoveries/internal stakeholders
  • Make decisions to mitigate losses and prevent secondary damage

About you:

  • Previous/current experience managing your own caseload of Domestic Property Claims in a technical environment
  • Field Adjusting experience visiting policyholders' home to assess/validate damage
  • Scopes experience using Symbility or similar tools
  • Knowledge of validating schedule of works
  • Excellent IT/systems experience - Microsoft
  • CII/CILA qualification preferred but not essential
  • Full clean driving licence

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary up to £45,000 per annum
  • Car allowance £600 per month
