Disrepair Project Officer

  • Job Type: 9-month temp contract
  • Location: Beeston
  • Salary: £18ph PAYE  

Our client a large Housing provider are seeking a diligent Property Management Coordinator to join thir team. This role involves providing key performance indicator (KPI) information, generating reports, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring excellent service delivery to our tenants. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong data management skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide KPI information as required by the Repairs Manager or Regional Property Manager.
  • Generate both ad hoc and routine reports from management information systems to monitor contractor performance and provide asset management information.
  • Monitor and report on progress with works arising from inspections and post-inspections.
  • Monitor and report on Repair Officers or Surveyors work activities.
  • Undertake desktop post-inspections as required.
  • Contact dissatisfied tenants from monthly surveys or other routes, resolve issues, raise necessary work orders, and feedback learning points to relevant Manager.
  • Manage trackers for the team, including updates and communication with residents, ensuring clear accountability for actions and status of work in progress.
  • Collate data for KPI purposes, liaise with customers, provide general administration support, and promote good customer service.
  • Partner with relevant Manager to undertake duties including producing agendas, arranging meetings, and taking minutes/action logs.
  • Coordinate and chase quote requests for maintenance and repairs and maintain awareness of relevant Repair and Maintenance issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Administration experience within construction or Repairs.
  • Proven ability to process data with sustained quality control in a sensitive and confidential environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and high concentration levels.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and interacting with a wide range of customers and technical issues.
  • Active listening and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent letter writing capabilities.
  • Proficiency in inputting, extracting, and interpreting data in Excel and other data applications.
  • Experience in a similar role within property management or a related field is highly desirable.
