Property Manager - Derby

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join a trusted, well established and forward thinking Estate Agency based in Derby. You will be confident and flexible in your approach, able to work under your own initiative whilst ensuring you’re working within the parameters of our company values and ethos. You will need to be efficient and highly organised with good, demonstrable grammatical skills.

You will be joining a buoyant, proactive team who are truly passionate about what they do.

The Package
Basic Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
On Target Earnings: £26,000 - £30,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that property maintenance issues are resolved in a timely & cost effective manner
  • Answer all incoming communications (internal and external)
  • Deal with customer enquiries effectively
  • Ensure focus on own development
  • Resolve complaints within own authority level
  • Escalate queries outside of own authority level
  • Maintain compliance with industry and internal regulations
  • Attention to all Health & Safety issues, including hazard and accident reporting
  • Provide effective solutions to all clients
  • Maintain positive business relationships with contractors
  • Understand the eviction process and notices required to be given to Tenants
  • Monitor accuracy of invoices and quotes
  • Process contractor quotations as necessary
  • Diagnose Maintenance issues as required through internal systems
  • Conduct final inspections and inventories and other required property visits

Skills & Experience

  • 2 Years industry experience is preferred
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Problem solver, including complaints and negotiations
  • Adaptable and a good team player
  • Be an effective communicator within a team
  • Be able to give feedback in a constructive manner
  • Great relationship builder
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Display high standards of service, care and presentation
  • High attention to detail

  • Monday - Friday 8.45am to 5.30pm, one in three Saturdays 9.00am - 12.00pm.
