Our client who are a very well-established residential sales and lettings estate agency, are looking for an experienced Property Manager to work within their lettings and property management team in Watford. They are market leaders in the industry, with another 2 offices in Abbots Langley and Kings Langley. This role will also require the successful candidate to cover these other 2 offices so you must have a driving licence, and use of your own car.

Salary package and benefits for the role of Property Manager include:

  • Salary £30,000 - £33,000
  • Onsite parking
  • Monday to Friday 8.45am - 6pm with every third Saturday 9am - 5pm
  • A day off in lieu the following week of working the Saturday

Skills required for the role of Property Manager will include:

  • Previous experience as a Property Manager
  • Knowledge of current legislation
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work well in a team dealing with any issues efficiently
  • Impeccable customer service skills
  • Good time management
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car

The role of the Property Manager will entail:

  • Managing your own portfolio
  • Assisting in overall management duties
  • Daily contact with tenants, landlords and contractors dealing with queries, and updates
  • Building a strong working relationship with both landlords and tenants
  • Arranging maintenance quotes and repairs
  • Carrying out property inspections
  • Checking on rent payments
  • Ensuring all legal compliance issues are met
  • Booking end of tenancy checkouts
  • Dealing with deposit returns and any deductions at end of tenancy
  • Property compliance
