Property Manager - Block Manager – Southgate Area … We’re currently recruiting for a boutique property management company in North London where you’ll be handling a smaller portfolio than you might find at other block management companies. The portfolio will be mostly in North London, Hertfordshire and close by and cover a broad style of properties including some small/medium purpose built, some beautiful Victorian conversions and a few larger residential buildings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Looking after a portfolio of north London / Hertfordshire residential blocks
  • Maintenance of the communal areas
  • Liaising with contractors regarding minor repairs and major works, service contracts etc
  • Site visits to ensure buildings are in good order
  • Maintaining health and safety regulations and legislation
  • Exp of working with service charge budgets, managing expenditure and being cost effective
  • Promoting relationships with clients and residents, problem-solving with pragmatic approach

Skills required:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ residential block property management experience
  • ATPI/IRPM preferred but not essential - company supports accreditation
  • Proactive and solution-orientated approach to problems
  • Good experience of section 20 process and major works
  • Understanding of health and safety and fire regulation compliance
  • Good organisational, communication skills and attention to detail
  • Car driver with clean license

Package:

  • Up to £38,000
  • 23 days holiday
  • Hybrid working once established
  • 35 hours week
  • Parking available
