Position: PRU Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have experience working with students who exhibit challenging behavior? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) Teaching Assistants, working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students who have been excluded from mainstream schools.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to students with various behavioral issues to help them engage in their education.
Work closely with teachers to implement tailored educational plans.
Create a positive and calming learning environment.
Assist with classroom management and behavior modification strategies.
Build strong, supportive relationships with students to foster trust and cooperation.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with challenging behavior in an educational setting.
Ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations.
Full-time availability.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
