Some prior experience is preferred with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

Role: Teaching Assistant / Behavioural Support Assistant
Length: 1-year fixed-term contract
Location: North London
Rate: £85 - £100 per day
Sector: Education and Training

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with special educational needs
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Support classroom teachers in managing challenging behaviours
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Participate in training and professional development sessions

Requirements:

  • A degree or current enrolment in a psychology program
  • A genuine interest in working with children with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
