- Full time permanent
- Teaching Psychology, Sociology and Criminology to A level
- This could be one full time role or a job share with a sociology or psychology specialist for 2 days a week each if interested in part time
- Paying up to £37,182
- Cheshire based FE college
- September start
Responsibilities of a Psychology Lecturer:
- Working in the Social sciences Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
- Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
- Delivery of A level Psychology, sociology and criminology
Core Purpose:
- To teach students assigned to the teacher and to ensure that planning, preparation,
- recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
- To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
- To monitor and assess student progress to improve their quality of learning and personal
- growth
- To undertake the duties of a Form Tutor when required to do so in accordance with the role
- description
- To undertake the duties and responsibilities specified by the current STPC document
Requirements of a Psychology Lecturer:
- A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
- Experience of delivering the subject.
- A Social sciences related Degree is essential
- A current DBS
