We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic A-Level Psychology Teacher to join our dynamic team in Cambridge, starting ASAP with the possibility to be kept on from September. This is a full-time position, perfect for a professional eager to share their knowledge and ignite a passion for psychology in young minds.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate
  • Education (PGCE) is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
  • Strong knowledge of A-Level Psychology curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive A-Level Psychology lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent's evenings, and school events.
  • Support the pastoral care of students, ensuring their well-being and academic success.
