Teacher of Psychology

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Psychology to join our successful school and sixth form. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about psychology and education, and is looking to make a significant impact on the lives of young people.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Delivering high-quality A Level Psychology lessons following the AQA specification.
  • Engaging and inspiring students to achieve their full potential in the subject.
  • Contributing to the development of the curriculum and teaching resources.
  • Participating in departmental meetings, sharing best practice and collaborating with colleagues.
  • Providing support and guidance to students, including one-to-one coaching where necessary.
  • Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong subject knowledge of Psychology.
  • Experience in teaching A Level Psychology is essential.
  • The ability to teach A Level Sociology and/or KS3 Science in addition to Psychology would be desirable.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK as the school is unable to offer sponsorship.
