PTS Site Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PTS Site Engineer to join our dynamic team on a high-profile rail project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the project's successful delivery, maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. £80m electrification project including lineside civils and station upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and assessments to ensure project specifications are met.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site documentation, including reports, drawings, and schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard and within project deadlines.
• Manage resources effectively, including labour, materials, and equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the rail industry.
• Strong understanding of rail construction and maintenance processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in site engineering software and tools.
