We are currently supporting a leading Ed Tech business as the search for an experienced Publishing Manager STEM. The Publishing Manager STEM will be responsible for leading a program of transformation and continuous improvement for across the STEM digital learning provision. You will ensure the successful and timely release of our digital products aimed at helping learners make progress with STEM education.

Job Details - Publishing Manager STEM

  • Scope digital learning needs and opportunities in line with curriculum requirements to support the digital learning vision including conceptualizing new frameworks, improving content in line with the needs of our target audience, and ensuring practice & valid assessment opportunities
  • Proactively evaluating the effectiveness of the platform and identifying requirements to support and improve digital learning
  • Partner with product management to continually develop the platform to provide the best learner experience to attract learners and teachers to the platform and increase usage and content consumption
  • Provide project leadership for content development efforts and activities, including ensuring content development guidelines are adhered to; scope, plan, resource and manage content development over the lifecycle of given projects; provide clear direction for what needs to be done to meet KPIs; supervise instructional design and quality assurance activities; provide day-to-day direction for projects and tasks; follow-up and effective coordination and coherence across the division and department.
  • Provide operational management and oversight of content projects including collaboration with the subject leads to ensure that content workflows and processes are established and resourced appropriately to ensure timely delivery of quality content for publication; follow up with external vendors on milestone delivery;
  • Ensure robust quality assurance across content development processes - instructional, design, and production guidelines for respective product lines of responsibility (STEM/English).
  • Engage the team including wider cross-divisional collaborators in planning and executing the digital learning strategy and plan

Education, Experience and Required Skill - Publishing Manager STEM

  • Bachelor's degree in Education with STEM subject focus
  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in an e-learning or publishing environment.
  • Experience in digital content development and publishing is required
  • Experience managing a team (not just content management)
  • International ed tech market best practice experience is required
  • Project & budget management
  • Digital content creation & management processes
