Role – Punch and Brake Press setter and operator
Location –Based close to Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – 16.00 – 00.30
Salary – From £27,040 - £31,200 per annum – depending on experience
Capacity of role – Permanent position

Our client is an experienced manufacturer who is currently going through a significant time of growth.
They are currently recruiting for a Punch and Brake press setter and operator to join their busy workshop team.
Candidates will need to be flexible to working hours due to the shifts.

Main duties will include –
 Setting and operating on Amada punch press/brake press machines
 Reading from engineering drawings
 Working with a variety of materials such as mild/stainless and aluminum
 Working to standard operating procedures
 Reporting any defects to management

Candidate attributes –
 Experienced CNC Punch Programmer, Setter and Operator, ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
 Experience using Radan software
 Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
 Capable of following processes and producing work that conforms to quality and safety standards.
 Ability to work flexible hours
