NXTGEN recruitment are pleased to be working in partnership with a business based to the west of Norwich who seek a purchase ledger clerk to join them on a full time basis. My client is expanding and due to a continuous influx of work, they have a need for a full-time purchase ledger clerk to join the team. You will be an integral part of the purchase ledger team and will need to show an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritise workloads.

Those who are looking to get into finance and come with a strong admin focused background will also be considered for the role

Your day to day will consists of being heavily involved with invoices and bank reconciliations. The role also offers an opportunity to be in direct contact with supplies so an ability to maintain and build new relationships is essential in this role.

The main duties are:

  • Processing large volumes of invoices
  • Bank reconciliations to multiple accounts
  • Dealing with invoice/supplier queries
  • Set up new suppliers
  • Expenses
  • other finance duties as required


The suitable person for this role will ideally have experience in a role of a similar nature or will have performed the duties as listed above. My client will also consider those who are seeking to start a career in finance and have a strong administrative background.
