Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Salary: Up to £26k

Location: Blackburn

Our client is an esteemed organisation in Blackburn who are seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger Specialist to join their Finance Team.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in purchase ledger or accounts and is looking for opportunities for career growth. This role will enable you to expand your expertise and contribute to the development of efficient working processes. Comprehensive support will be provided to help you excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger Activities: Manage daily tasks including monitoring the centralized inbox, matching, coding, and posting purchase invoices, credit notes, credit card transactions, and expenses, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Financial Processes: Accurately complete financial transactions and activities to ensure the accounts payable function is efficiently managed.
  • Supplier Relations: Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal clients through regular communication to resolve queries related to expenses, invoices, and financial reconciliations.
  • Cashflow Management: Assist in managing cashflow by planning supplier payment run values and preparing payment runs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience with Purchase Ledger,
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office Packages
  • AAT Qualifications are desirable but not essential
