Purchase Ledger Clerk

Our client, a leader in their field, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

You will play a crucial role in managing the company's purchase ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all purchases and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Processing:

  • Accurately process and verify purchase invoices in a timely manner.
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and ensure appropriate approval workflows are followed.

Payment Processing:

  • Coordinate and process supplier payments, adhering to payment terms and schedules.
  • Reconcile payments with invoices and statements to ensure accuracy.

Supplier Management:

  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers, resolving any invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Setting up new suppliers on the system.

Data Entry and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all purchase transactions.
  • Processing contracts and updating haulage details.

You should have previous high volume purchase ledger experience, be accurate, able to work to deadlines with excellent organisation and communication skills. You will have strong numerical skills and be IT literate.
