We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Purchase Ledger Clerk to become part of our Accounting & Finance team in the manufacturing industry. The role is based in Warrington and requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organisational skills, and a passion for finance.

Client Details

Our client is an established player in the manufacturing industry. They have operations globally, and a large portfolio of blue chip accounts.

Description

  • Handle and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure all payments are made promptly and accurately
  • Regularly reconcile supplier statements
  • Work closely with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Provide support during audits as required
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounting department
  • Manage relationships with suppliers effectively
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulations

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

  • A strong educational background in finance or a related field
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
