Fantastic opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a highly successful retail business based in Trafford Park. This role will offer a salary up to £28,000 depending on experience.

Client Details

Michael Page are working with with a very well known business going through a period of growth. They are seeking an Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their vibrant team at an exciting time for the business.

Description

Duties include:

  • Responsible for inputting, coding and processing of invoices daily
  • Preparation of month end payment runs according to company policy
  • Ensuring key accounts are managed appropriately to minimise late payments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Supplier statement reconciliation and control, maintenance of aged accounts
  • Processing staff expenses in line with company policy and submit to payroll
  • Assisting with intercompany account reconciliation
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Profile

The candidate will have:

  • Previous Purchase Ledger experience - Required
  • Strong understanding of the reconciliations process - Required
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal - Required
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
  • High attention to detail and levels of accuracy - Required
  • Prior experience within the Retail sector - Desirable

Job Offer
