Our client, a highly regarded multi-disciplined law firm in London has an exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their finance team.

  • Inputting purchase invoices and obtaining approval from management for payment
  • Management of supplier accounts on the system
  • Maintaining nominal accounts relating to court fees, courier fees and taxi expenses along established guidelines
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Uploading the daily and monthly payment run to the online banking system
  • Vendor account reconciliation
  • Dealing with the day to day supplier queries and monitoring the supplier inbox
  • Liaising with the billings teams
  • Producing reports for finance and the wider internal teams
  • Supervision of the purchase ledger assistant
  • Assisting with other ad hoc tasks as required by the finance team

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in an Accounts Payable function, within a law firm
  • Good working knowledge of VAT regulations
  • Experience overseeing junior team members
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
  • Strong IT skills (Excel VLOOKUP)
