Reed Accountancy is on the lookout for a skilled Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a team in Coventry. This is a permanent position and office based. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a solid grasp of purchase ledger accounting principles, we want to hear from you!
Day to Day of the role:
- Accurate invoice coding and matching to ensure proper tracking and accountability.
- Processing BACs payments efficiently and on time.
- Calculating VAT for transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Performing statement reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or in a similar role.
- A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software, with a preference for candidates knowledgeable in SAGE 50.
