CMA is partnering with a growing business based in Portsmouth, Hampshire to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team for an initial period of 6 months.  This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team where you can progress and expand your skillset.  The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will report into Accounts Payable Team Leader and assist with the processing of invoices and BACS payments.

What will the Accounts Payable Assistant role involve?

  • Process high volume invoices;
  • Reconcile statements and assist with month end ledger close down;
  • Create new suppliers and reconcile accounts;
  • Raise POs and allocate correctly;
  • Produce BACS payments;
  • Other ad hoc finance duties.

Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Payable Assistant:

  • Experience in a finance team;
  • Excellent IT skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong communication skills.
