Job Title: Ledger Clerk (Part-Time)Salary: £30,000 FTEHours: 30 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and organised Ledger Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of financial processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the general ledger
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Ledger Clerk or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
