An excellent opportunity for a Procurement/Buying/Purchasing Assistant to join a well-established organization.

Working within a small team this position would suit a Procurement/Buying/Purchasing Assistant who is keen, experienced and a strong team player.

The Procurement/Buying/Purchasing Assistants responsibilities will include the following:

  • Being the main point of contact with regards to supply and logistics of goods
  • Managing the portfolio and product range
  • Building and managing strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Organise stock inventories
  • Sort excess and redundant stock
  • Forecasting and budgeting
  • Making recommendations for product special offers
  • Management of Purchase Orders
  • Analysis of best performing products and data trends


Ideally the Procurement/Buying/Purchasing Assistant will have the following skills and abilities:

  • Experienced and proven background in Procurement/Purchasing or Buying
  • Have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Self motivated
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • High attention to detail
