Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Python Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with traders and data scientists to design and implement high-quality solutions for our systematic trading strategies. You will be responsible for developing full-stack applications, managing data pipelines, and utilising DevOps tools to maintain and improve our software systems.

This role is based Hybrid in London, with at least one day a week required in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the trading team and data scientists to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop full-stack applications using Python and various web technologies.
• Create and maintain data pipelines, handling large datasets efficiently using SQL and other database languages.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot software systems with the aid of DevOps tools.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies to enhance our trading strategies.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Python with extensive experience in software development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and other database languages.
• High numeracy skills and a good understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Keen interest in systematic trading systems; financial services experience is a plus but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
