QA Technician

The successful QA Technician to carry out routine incoming material inspections, dispositioning, and transacting material on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. In addition, there will be a requirement to carry out first article inspections, write up FAI reports and work with suppliers to arrange processing and shipment of critical devices.

The role will involve:

• Responsibility for adhering to the Company's ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and ISO45001 Health and Safety management systems.
• Carry out routine incoming material inspections, dispositioning, and transacting material on the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Carry out first article inspections and write up FAI reports.
• Processing and submitting NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and communicating internally and with supply chain as required to resolve.
• Respond to Contract Electronic Manufacturer requests for critical devices and process orders and shipments ensuring compliance with ESD protocols.

To be successful in this role of QA Technician we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

• Ideally with a Quality background and familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14001 management system and environmental regulations.
• Ideally familiar with electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical components
• Confident, motivated, and well organised
• Enjoys handling detail and ensuring information supplied is correct and accurate.
• Good IT skills and computer literacy particularly Microsoft Office - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and use of databases.
