Walker Cole International is seeking a QC Analyst to join a dynamic and innovative team within a leading biological reagents company. This full-time position is based in South West England, and offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant QC department focused on high-quality analytical chemistry.

Key Responsibilities as the QC Analyst:

  • Conduct QC tests and perform second person checking, utilising techniques such as High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC), Mass Spectrometry (MS), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), Fourier transform infra-red (FT-IR), Ultraviolet-visible (UV/Vis).
  • Develop and validate analytical methods.
  • Write and amend standard operating procedures, test methods, and specifications.
  • Calibrate QC laboratory equipment.

To be successful in your application for the QC Analyst position, you will have the following expertise:

  • Degree in chemistry or a related science.
  • Industry specific QC experience, preferably in a GMP environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of analytical chemistry.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
