We are seeking an enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for chemistry and a strong background in laboratory procedures and quality control. The successful candidate must be able to organise their own work load and plan their day accordingly.
Responsibilities:

- Perform laboratory QC tests following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
- Assist with R&D , including the development of new technology and product improvement
- Collaborate with the team to analyze and interpret data
- Document findings and communicate results effectively
- Compliance work such as COSHH assessments
- Answer customer enquiries
- Assist with customer service visits

Essential Experience:

- Qualification in chemistry such as BTEC, HNC or Degree
- Proficiency in general laboratory work (titrations, dilutions, pH calibration etc)
- Proficiency in Mathematics and English
- Familiarity with basic quality control processes
- Experience working in a laboratory setting

Preferred Skills:

- Full Driving license
- Problem solving
- Understanding of scientific principles and methodologies
- self motivated

Expected hours: 36 per week Mon - Fri with early finish Friday.
