Your new role
As the Social Work Team Manager, you will lead, manage, and guide a high-calibre team of social workers. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining effective communication, promoting best practice, and ensuring the delivery of quality services within a fast-paced environment.

• Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and supervision to social workers.
• Oversee the assessment of referrals, identifying risks, and prioritising cases.
• Work closely with partner agencies, including police, health, and education professionals.
• Ensure adherence to statutory guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Make informed decisions regarding child protection and safeguarding.
• Monitor team performance, address challenges, and celebrate achievements.
• Support continuous learning and development for team members.

What you'll need to succeed

• Registered with Social Work England.
• Significant post-qualification experience, preferably within MASH teams.
• Up-to-date understanding of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ideally to have DBS on the update service to ensure a quick start.
