Science Teacher

Location: Tameside

Contract Type: Permanent role, Sept 2024 Start

Salary: £140 - £190 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you a passionate and fully qualified Science teacher seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our vibrant secondary school in Tameside are looking for a dedicated Science teacher to teach Biology/Physics/Chemistry up to KS5. . This role is full-time and involves teaching, planning and marking. The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the Uk.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
  2. Planning and Preparation: Develop well-structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum.
  3. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for languages.
  4. Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the MFL department and school community.
