Hybrid working

Duty and assessment social worker required to cover a recent vacancy.

You will be expected to visit children regularly and be confident in engaging children to understand what life looks like for them. Be able to co-ordinate and chair CIN meetings and strategy meetings in a timely manner and ensure we have a working plan for the child to reduce risk and access early support for children and families.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in statutory social work functions, including safeguarding and support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice.
  • Commitment to promoting social change, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and maximising independence.
