Qualified Social Worker - Adults Learning Disabilities
We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for the Adults Learning Disabilities Team within the Social Care industry in Cornwall. The Qualified Social Worker in Adults Learning Disabilities Team vacancy in Cornwall will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance
Responsibilities include:
- Case Load Management
- Completing reviews and assessment
- Working alongside other agencies
- Working to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults
- Promoting service users choices, control and independence
- Supporting service users to live safely and independently in their own homes
- Assessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homes
- Reviewing residential, nursing home or day centre placements
- Working effectively with other professionals
Experience preferred:
- Post qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker in the Adults Social Care Sector
- Duty Working
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year experience within UK
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- SWE Registered
- Degree in Social Work
