Tripod wishes to speak to Qualified Social workers with Children in Need experience

£38p/h

Hybrid working

I am looking for a social worker for immediate start.

Would be in the child in need team based in Coalville Children's centre.

I ask my workers to be office based for at least 3 days per week. some home working is also negotiable.

Case load is 15-20ish. Max. I always try and aim for no more than 15 for my workers where possible.

Work will include complex child in need cases in the new family help service. Private law matters, occasionally low level looked after children work, and child and family assessments.

There is no long-term child protection work in this role as this is held by the new safeguarding team.

Although this is a child in need role, I am still looking for someone with extensive social work experience in court work, child protection, and looked after children, as we are still holding complexities which sometimes cross very closely with child protection matters between the two new teams.
