Qualified Social Worker - Fostering Team - Cardiff

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker - Fostering Team within the Social Care industry in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels. The Qualified Social Worker - Fostering Team vacancy will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising Regulation 24 Foster Carers
  • Undertaking Special Guardianship Assessments
  • Representing carers at the Fostering Panel
  • Providing evidence to the court when necessary
  • Working in partnership with the Children's Social Worker
  • Connected Persons Assessments
  • Giving evidence in Court

Experience preferred:

  • Post qualifying experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker in a Fostering Team within the UK Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements:

  • SCW Registration
  • 1 year post qualifying experience within UK
  • Enhanced DBS (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
