  • Effective engagement and relationship management with vulnerable children, young people and families and other stakeholders.
  • Experience of formulating, implementing and reviewing agreed care plans.
  • Experience of working within a statutory Children’s Services setting.
  • Can demonstrate an awareness of the impact of their involvement as a child care professional
  • Experience of carrying out timely assessments of service users’ needs, using practice guidance and departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in statutory social work functions, including safeguarding and support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice.
  • Commitment to promoting social change, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and maximising independence.
