Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Liverpool City Council Duty and Assessment Team. This is a full time role, with a fantastic pay rate of £35 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Completion of Child & Family Assessments, coordinating of Child In Need Planning, Strategy Meeting/S 47
• Enquiries to progress to Initial Child Protection Conference.
• Strong reflection and analytical skills and ability to assess and manage risk required.
• Court experience - around initiation of proceedings/ EPO applications etc desirable.
• Knowledge of Signs of Safety and Safe & Together desirable.
• Work closely with other professionals, such as health practitioners, police officers, and educators, to gather comprehensive information and ensure a holistic approach to assessment and intervention.
• Offer guidance, counseling, and practical support to individuals and families, enabling them to navigate challenging circumstances.
• Your expertise will empower them to make informed decisions and access appropriate services.

Required:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Qualification
• Enhanced DBS
