MS489 - Qualified Vehicle Technician

Location: Nottingham 

Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for Vehicle Technicians. The successful candidate will be responsible providing for keeping customers cars on the road and maintaining the company's great level of customer service.

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect customers’ vehicles, prior to and on completion of service, maintenance or repair work.
  • Undertake diagnosis of repair requirements to vehicles.
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair in a safe and efficient manner to MOT and manufacturer standards.
  • Procure parts required to complete the work instructions.
  • Ensure a final inspection of all work is implemented and when requested, fully test if safety related or a customer concern.
  • Record accurate details of work done on Repair Order and other information required by policy and statutory procedure.
  • Participate in on-going training and development to ensure product and service knowledge is up to date.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice technicians, where applicable.
  • Ability to complete allocated tasks in a timely manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Time Served experience plus relevant qualifications, preferably Level 3.
  • Master Diagnostics Technician (Qualified)
  • Dealership experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence. 
  • Able to work in a team.
