Our client is a fast-moving, specialist manufacturing business that specialises in taking brands to its worldwide customers. This is such an exciting time to join their ambitious workforce in a Quality Administrator position!

Product Specifications, Raw Material content, providing accurate specification sheets and bills of materials (BOMS) are such important factors within the role, and we are looking for a Quality Administrator with strong data collection, attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.

The role involves vast liaison with suppliers and producing data sheets and documentation of all the data.

Key responsibilities of the Quality Administrator will include:

  • Compiling and reviewing documents, producing and updating product specification sheets and obtaining raw material certificates from suppliers.
  • Effectively using the internal MS Dynamics software system to input all relevant data.
  • Produce supporting documentation for Life Cycle Analysis and Product Declaration documentation for all new & existing products.
  • Extract and use data taken from the internal production system to collate BOM (Bill of Materials) information.
  • Liaise with internal design team to collate technical product data on material, process and weight information.
  • Build specification sheets to provide current compliance information, to include:- Testing/ Recycled Content/ ISO certifications/ Sustainability and FSC Certification.
  • React to requests from the Sales / Tendering team for information focusing on product and material data collection.
  • Diary and follow up management: Update and manage all product certificates running regular database audits for missing test certs to expire and flag.
  • Liaise with external testing bodies to organise testing to relevant standards for new products.

The Person:

  • Previous experience within a similar role within Quality, Sustainability, Product Data, ISO, Document Controller, Product Compliance or relatable knowledge within manufacturing
  • Ability to extract, analyse and interpret information
  • Experience working with external suppliers
  • Experience working to tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • IT proficient using Microsoft packages in particular Excel or Manufacturing systems

This is a great role if you love data and all things compliance or sustainability within a fast paced, innovative manufacturing business.

Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5pm Monday to Thursday / 2.30pm finish on a Friday.

Salary is highly competitive, circa £30k pa, commensurate with experience. he company benefits are excellent and can be discussed upon application.
