Job Description

The Quality and MHRA Manager is an internal facing role, you will serve as first point of contact for customer, internal and external audits. You will manage and maintain, legal and quality of all products stored and transported under the MHRA across Great Bear sites.  As Quality & MHRA Manager you will ensure that the Great Bear Licence is adhered to and maintained, whilst also managing a team of 3 to make this happen. 

Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00

  • To adhere to and promote best practice in accordance with company health and safety requirements
  • To represent the MHRA Quality Team within the sites Senior Management Team
  • Effective management and motivation of the site quality and hygiene teams to achieve commercial, site and quality objectives  within the agreed timelines
  • Measuring site standards across all operations in line with business, customer and legislative requirements.
  • Review and maintain the Technical Agreements with both the Customers and Sub-Contractors.
  • Review, audit and challenge operations with regards to product safety and quality to ensure that operations maintain the highest standards in line with the overarching Group Quality Management System & GDP
  • Maintain the Great Bear SOP’s
  • Manage and conduct Internal Audits to ensure compliance to internal and external standards. All anomalies are to be reported and closed out
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external customers to effectively deliver change, improvements and new products to the business ensuring safety and quality whilst demonstrating the business behaviours.
  • Using Root Cause Analysis, ensure that any non-conformances including audit actions and customer complaints, are investigated and acted upon to minimise any future risks.
  • To manage the training and development of new starters within own department and provide ongoing training.
  • To undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time, that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post.

Qualifications

  • Requires external GDP (Good Distribution Practice) training
  • Requires advanced procedural and practical experience in MHRA regulations
  • Internal Audit Training
  • PC Literate
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis
