Quality Assurance Administrator
  • Salary: £24k - £35k (DOE)
  • Location: Bourne End
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Administrator to oversee and maintain our company’s quality management system. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products and services meet both internal and external legal requirements and standards set by regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and be adept at managing both supplier and customer relationships.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Manage the company Quality Management System (QMS) database and logs.
  • Maintain comprehensive product quality records and ensure their accuracy.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain the quality and standard of products supplied.
  • Maintain and review the accuracy of existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and generate new ones as needed.
  • Handle supplier and customer complaints to timely completion by following the correct procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule all document control reviews by monitoring logs.
  • Identify and evaluate risks and opportunities within the quality management process.
  • Liaise with and conduct annual internal audits and documentation.
  • Prepare for and manage external audits from BSI and customers.
  • Host audits for key suppliers.
  • Manage supplier and customer questionnaires.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in similar QA roles.
  • Proven ability to manage a Quality Management System.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and customers.
  • Experience in conducting internal and external audits.
  • Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements and compliance management.
