Opus People Solutions are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer in Lowestoft.

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will ensure the highest standards of care are upheld for adults with learning disabilities.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career while maintaining a work/life balance, working 30 hours a week over 4 days, primarily during core office hours.

While specific experience in quality assurance is not required, a strong understanding of care legislation, best practices, and administrative skills (including report writing) are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all customer documentation meets required standards.
  • Assess customer requirements and needs, ensuring these are met within support plans and by staff.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Write comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Implement effective quality assurance practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide direction, support, and guidance to team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals in a social care setting, including providing support to those with learning disabilities, supporting complex needs, and conducting risk assessments.
  • Awareness of relevant health and safety and care legislation.
  • Knowledge of legal requirements in health and social care.
  • Proficiency in IT.
  • RQF Level 3 Award in Health & Social Care or a similar qualification (desirable).
  • Valid driving license (desirable).
  • Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act (desirable).
