About The Role
Are you a natural problem solver, curious to get to the root cause of an issue with a focus on quality and adherence?  If so, we are looking for you!
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician to support our factory team in Irthlingborough to ensure product quality is maintained throughout the production process. 
  • Monday to Friday 
  • 14:45pm to 11:15pm

Responsibilities of our Quality Assurance Technician:
  • Audit all QC procedures carried out in factory
  • Assist in the training of technical standards and SOP’s
  • Approve first production runs of new products
  • Liaise with finished goods and raw material warehouses regarding traceability and stock issues
  • Where issues are identified, you will support factory team in identification of the root of the problem, offering innovative solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement along with our CI team and strive to educate others to think quality first.
Our ideal Quality Assurance Technician:
  • Good working knowledge of COSHH, HACCP and Food Safety standards, gained from working within a food manufacturing environment or within a technical function
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ensuring that you are analytical as you will be required to be critical thinker who will probe and question the options.
  • Thinking logically and objectively and has the ability to evaluate alternatives effectively.
  • Influencing others to perform at a Whitworth’s standard.
  • Communicating effectively at all levels and with your team.
