Reed Food & FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a Quality Assurance Auditor on a Temporaryto permanent basis for a really exciting business in the food industry.

Quality Assurance Auditor

North West London

Hourly rate - £12-£14 per hour depending on experience

Immediate Start

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits, including GMP, hygiene, fabrication, glass & brittle plastic, and HACCP audits, ensuring compliance and identifying trends.
  • Verify CCPs and assess competency in procedures, contributing to performance evaluations.
  • Investigate customer complaints and internal non-conformances, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform diverse product testing (such as organoleptic, pH, aw, salt content), ensuring quality standards.
  • Release WIP products for production, conduct finished product label checks, and inspect raw materials.
  • Investigate out-of-spec results, liaising with the production team for product specification compliance.
  • Manage concessions, log and handle supplier non-conformances, and follow the company's quarantine system.

Person Specification:

  • Ideally at least 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Food or Science related degree level or equivalent
  • Proficient in relevant Microsoft skills especially Outlook and Excel.
  • Proficiency in the English language
