Quality Control Technician
We are looking for an analyst to join our Quality Control Team, to support our ongoing Omega-3 business needs and help as we develop our CDMO business. The key purpose of this role is to support the Quality Control Section head in the smooth and compliant running of the QC department, working alongside our R&D, Production and Quality Assurance Teams.
- Carry out Quality Control analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and final products as well as data in support of onsite manufacturing and all QC functions.
- Help to ensure that QC functions operate in a current GMP manner in compliance with the filed regulatory dossiers for the products supported.
- Be able to review analytical results against specification with accuracy.
- Participate in the documentation of laboratory systems and processes including the updating of existing documentation as required.
- Ensure all housekeeping and work safety operations within the QC laboratory take place in the correct and proper manner
- Review and evaluate data and ensure all activities are carried out to cGMP standards.
- Following management direction and complying with the technical, operational, SHE and cGMP guidelines to generate high quality, relevant, accurate and timely data.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, analytical or related.
- Good understanding of analytical techniques, such as: GC, HPLC, UV, Auto-Titration
- Knowledge of regulatory guideline, GMP, ICH guidelines, BP/EP/USP methods.
- Ability to follow approved methods, SOPsetc.
- Write, review and revise SOPsetc, as required
- Be able to plan and prioritize own workload with guidance from senior analysts and team leaders.
