An opportunity to join the quality and regulatory department at a successful and expanding supplier of chemical and food additives. This is a desk-based role working on ensuring the quality and compliance of a variety of ingredients and chemicals for world-wide markets.

The role will involve working with new and existing suppliers, approving products, arranging for product testing, creating product specifications, document control, supplier reviews and auditing.

The role requires excellent attention to detail, good numeracy, familiarity with chemical terminology, good IT skills (Excel, word), good written and verbal communication and the ability to liaise with and advise a range of different colleagues and contacts.

The role would suit someone, maybe from a chemistry or food science background, who would like a desk-based quality / compliance role. You may be working in a lab or other environment and be looking for a desk-based science related role. Full training will be provided and there is excellent opportunity to progress within the team and specialise in your own area of regulatory compliance.
